I may be off base by politicizing this crime. But it seems to me that after a long period of lowered crime statistics the amount of robberies seem to be rising in proportion to the effects of the poor economy.Bank robbery is a desperate crime, more often these days committed by desperate people. Maybe I am reading too much into this because it is very close to home but I see more desperate times ahead if the folks in Washington don't get a handle on the economy. I hope I am wrong.
