Centrella sticks to the "Keep It Straight and Simple" principle.  Her platform consists of eight simple goals that consist of making the tax-paying process more convenient, secure and accurate for residents of the Town of North Hempstead and especially New Hyde Park. Centrella has taken part in the Lakeville Estates Civic Association.

“I have lived in this community since 1965 and I, along with many others, have recently seen our quality of life decreasing,” Centrella said. “Improving the Town of North Hempstead has really brought together this energetic Republican ticket of young individuals with strong backgrounds in the private sector.”

This year’s Republican ticket is indeed packed with “new blood”: Young community oriented individuals who are looking to help bring positive change to the Town by working together towards common goals.

“It’s great to see that even though we’re just getting started that our ticket is committed to working together,” said Republican Campaign Coordinator Bill Christofidis. “While I work primarily with the candidate for Town Supervisor Lee Tu, the entire ticket is really putting their best efforts towards the upcoming election not just as individuals but as a group.”

Centrella described her ticket by saying, “Our ticket this year is truly the next generation; the new face of our local Republican Party. The veterans have passed the torch on to a diligent group of individuals.”
