Trash Collection Schedule for Election Day 2013
Special schedule for trash collection in Mineola the week of November 4-8.
Mineola village offices will be closed on Monday Oct. 14, 2013, for the observance of Columbus Day.
The holiday collection schedule for this week is as follows:
- If your normal collection days are Monday and Thursday, your garbage collection schedule will remain unchanged.
- If your normal collection days are Tuesday and Friday, your garbage will be collected on Wednesday and Friday.
- Yard waste and newspaper collection will remain unchanged.
- Rubbish may be placed at the curb on either garbage collection day.
- Recycling collection will be on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 this week.
Residents and businesses are reminded not to leave trash on the curb for pickup on undesignated days.
