Trash Collection Schedule for Thanksgiving Day 2013

Mineola village offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, for the observance of Thanksgiving Day.

There will be no collections on Thursday.

The holiday collection schedule for this week is as follows:

• If your normal collection days are Monday and Thursday, your garbage will be collected on Monday and Wednesday.
• If your normal collection days are Tuesday and Friday, your collection schedule will remain unchanged.
• Yard waste, Recycling and Rubbish collection will remain unchanged.
• Newspaper collection will be on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 this week.

Residents and businesses are reminded not to leave trash on the curb for pickup on undesignated days.
