The towns have all sorts of ordinances. Which ones are violated most and which make you angriest?
The has ordinances governing noise, leaf blowers, garbage pails,dogs and illegal apartments, to name a few.
Mineola has it doubly-tough, being in both the Town of North Hempstead and Hempstead.
Garbage pails can only be curbside between specific hours. Leafblowers and lawnmowers have curfews. Dogs must be on leashes and can't leave anything behind, if you get our meaning.
