Buckley, Quinn Receive Nassau Phys Ed Student of the Year Award
Mineola High School students unanimously selected by athletic office.
seniors Amanda Buckley and Quinn Paggi were recently named the recipients of the Nassau County Physical Education Student of the Year Award for 2011.
The award is presented to two Mineola High School students each year, with this year’s ceremonial award dinner taking place on December 12 at the Crest Hollow Country Club.
Both students were chosen due to the department’s view that they had a dedication both to their academic work and their participation in athletic activities.

Academically, Buckley is and hopes to attend .
Quinn, who is undecided about where he will attend, has been a member of the football, basketball and lacrosse teams at Mineola.
