“Oh, My Aching Feet!” Free Lecture

Winthrop-University Hospital’s Perspectives in Health series will offer a free lecture for the community, “Oh, My Aching Feet!” on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at 7:00 PM.  The program will be held at Winthrop’s Community Outreach Center, 101 Mineola Boulevard at the corner of Second Street in Mineola.

Bryan Ding, MD, Attending Orthopaedic Surgeon at Winthrop, will discuss cutting-edge techniques along with proven traditional methods that will help you get “back on your feet.”

He will address the symptoms, causes, diagnosis and latest advances in treatment options for various foot problems, ranging from bunions and plantar fasciitis to sports injuries and chronic ankle instability.  A question and answer period will follow the lecture.

Attendees are asked to arrive at 6:45 PM for registration.  Parking and the entrance are available in the rear of the building.  Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.  To reserve a space, please call (516) 663-8300.
