Letter to the Editor: Support Navarra for Mineola School Board
Williston Park resident Phyllis Badinger submitted the following letter.
I am writing in support of Patricia Navarra who has been an active member of our community for many years. Her selfless dedication and commitment to the children of the entire district is evident by her years of service.
She has served as president of middle school, district council and currently President of the Music Parents Association. Always willing to lend a hand, Patricia chaired countless committees and helped with others. As a supporter of our Fine Arts, you would find her at our many marching band competitions, concerts, drama productions and musicals, whether or not her own children were involved.
Moving forward as her children move on, Patricia is at a point where she can see to the continuance and improvement of our programs and educational system. She is looking to put new energy and focus on motivating our middle track students.
With all of her knowledge and expertise I believe Patricia will be a great asset to the Mineola School District. I urge all of you to vote for Patricia Navarra on May 21.
