Mineola fifth, sixth and seventh graders at the were surprised when a crew from TIME for Kids, the youth-oriented version of the weekly news magazine, became guests in their classrooms this past Friday.
The crew had arrived to film a short piece on the in the Mineola School District, specifically the in fifth grade, and to document their experiences.
The school district first piloted the iPad program in the 2010-11 school year with its fifth graders, gradually as part of and this school year.
