The Flyers continued their dominance on the tennis courts Monday afternoon as they took down the Gaels of St. Mary’s 5-2 at Christopher Morley Park.
In their only other meeting of the season the Flyers had taken the match .
Chaminade struggled with its singles matches as J.T. Esposito fell to his St. Mary’s counterpart in straight sets and Rich DeGregoris lost the second singles match to Chris Cassimissima 6-1,, 7-6, 7-4. Erik Lobben was the lone Flyer to win his singles match against Justin Chang, doing so in straight sets.

The Flyers shined on the doubles matches, taking all four contests in straight sets. Team captain Mike Lem and Rob Buetti defeated St. Mary’s first team of Kim and Hoen 6-1, 6-0 while Ethan Honda and Matt Romano downed the St. Mary’s team of DiBlasi and McTigue 6-0, 6-0 in fourth doubles.
With the victory Chaminade moves to 7-1 while St. Mary’s is still searching for its first victory, falling to 0-6.
