Mineola Athletic Association Holds Inaugural Soccer Festival

Despite hazy skies and a little rainfall last Saturday, the young athletes of Mineola showed up at to play a series of soccer games as part of the Mineola Athletic Association’s Inaugural Soccer Festival.

Parents, friends and fans showed up to watch as the young girls and boys teams rotated on and off the field to playg games against teams such as the North Babylon Thunder.

There were games and refreshments available for the fans to enjoy, as well as a sound system to provide music throughout the day.  The athletes played through the rain and worked hard to make the festival the best possible.
