NY Cosmos Offering Free Shuttle During Home Matches for Fans
Team offering free rides from Mineola LIRR station to Shuart Stadium and back.
Fans of the New York Cosmos soccer team will be able to take free shuttle busses to home matches if they ride the Long Island Rail Road to the Mineola train station.
The Cosmos will operate shuttles on gamedays that run between the Long Island Railroad station in Mineola and Hofstra University’s Shuart Stadium in Uniondale. The shuttle will run prior to matches and also postgame.
For fans who drive to Hofstra, all parking costs only $5 and must be paid in cash. Handicapped parking is available in select parking lots. For a detailed map of parking lots and options at Shuart Stadium, please visit www.nycosmos.com/hofstra.

Single-game tickets for the Cosmos’ home opener are now available via www.nycosmos.com and by calling 855-71-COSMOS. Individual tickets start as low as $15.
The Cosmos will face their historic rivals, the Fort Lauderdale Strikers, in the opener on Aug. 3.

Prior to kickoff, the Cosmos will honor legendary players, including Pelé and Carlos Alberto, in a special on-field ceremony.
