“We are thrilled to honor Colleen Butt as the ‘Citizens Bank Citizen of the Week,’” Citizens Bank New York President James P. Gaspo said in a statement. “Colleen’s work allows Family and Children’s Association employees the opportunity to serve as mentors to young people, while giving her student volunteers the chance to learn valuable employment skills.”

Family and Children’s Association Marketing and Communications Director Joyce Mullen said Butt and her students “support the activities of Family and Children’s staff and allow the agency to do more with less for the good of Long Islanders in need. Ms. Butt and her students arrive with smiles on their faces and complete their assigned tasks in a very timely and professional manner.
